A fundraising barbecue has been planned this Saturday, June 9th, to help Susanville resident Matt Lively, who recently was involved in a traffic collision and had to have his leg amputated from the knee down.
“Matt and his daughter will need all of the support they can get,” fundraiser organizers Elizabeth Lively and Dusty Vaughn explain in their invitation.
“Please help us as we band together as a community to support one of our own.”
To help relieve the financial burden for Lively and his daughter Dusty’s BBQ will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and beans, dessert from Merry Morsels and a drink all for $12 this Saturday, June 9th.
The fundraiser will be held in the Grocery Outlet parking lot on Susanville’s Main Street beginning at 4:00p.m. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping Matt’s recovery.
Tickets are available at the Diamond Mountain Casino, Milwood Florist and Margie’s Book Nook.
