Gallery: Active Shooter Training Drill Held at Lassen College

Law enforcement and emergency services personnel from all over Lassen County attended the Susanville Police Department’s active shooter training drill held on the Lassen College campus last Wednesday.

The active-shooter scenarios used in the drill all involved an armed assailant at LCC and more than 100 role players who acted as student and staff victims.

This is the third year that the Susanville Police Department has hosted the active shooter training, this time around moving to the college from the high school campus where training was held the previous years.

Despite being fake it should be mentioned that the images in the gallery are somewhat frightening – portraying real graphic violence on the college’s campus.
