Lassen Community College hosted an event on Thursday designed to give local students a chance meet with, and load up on information about, a variety of regional and national universities.
Students visiting the college campus had a chance to compare schools and programs with more than 40 booths set up by universities, employers, trade schools – something for everyone who is about to leave high school and head out into the world.
Along with universities like Chico State, UNR, Simpson College and other learning institutions the students met representatives from the Forest Service, California Highway Patrol, Susanville Police Department, Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, Customer Talk, the Marines and more.
