Gallery: LHS Track and Field vs. Oroville

The Lassen Track and Field athletes competed against Oroville High School Wednesday. Lassen won all four sections with Varsity boys gaining 85 points, JV Boys gaining 76 points, Varsity Girls gaining 55 points and JV Girls gaining 64 points.

During the event, many athletes shined individually. Portia Martin won first place in Girls Varsity Triple-Jump, Long Jump, and 100 meter dash. Mike McCullough and Tyleen Kimball both placed first for their Varsity divisions in the 32,000 meter dash, and Varsity Girls 4×100 meter placed first in their race.

JV Sara Carson placed first in the 200 meter dash and led her JV 4×100 to a first place victory. The whole team contributed to the all around win of the meet and the showed their Lassen Pride in all their events.
