Meadow View Elementary students recently held a big party to celebrate California’s 163rd birthday with a parade of colorful, amazing student-built floats that toured around the school’s playground much to the delight of parents and visitors.
Our local chapter of the Native Daughters of the Golden West were on hand to help the students celebrate with the presentation of two new flags to fly at the school. (read story here)
