The Diamond Mountain Golf Course was busy from morning till night Saturday as Northern California Cancer Advocates held a day-long fundraiser which included a 5K run/walk in the morning and a golf tournament in the afternoon.
Proceeds from the well-attended fundraiser benefit cancer fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties.
The NCCA is a nonprofit organization operating out of both counties with the intent to provide support and guidance for people suffering from cancer during their time of need.
