Richmond Elementary put on a great show Wednesday night, as students celebrated the school’s 150th anniversary with songs, dance and poetry.
Vicky Leitaker, Richmond School Principal, introduced students Emma Newton and Ryan Elison who read a poem by Mrs. Mineau.
Fourth and Fifth Grade students did a Square Dancing performance, and Kindergarten, First, Second and Third-graders sang several songs including the Richmond School SMART Song written by Mrs. Davainis.
Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Graders performed The Cups Song accompanied by Jason and Christal Wheeler.
Karen Sherve, long-time Richmond School teacher accompanied the young singers on piano.
