On Saturday more than four hundred Susanville Little League players took part in a big opening day celebration which included a parade full of teams, parents, coaches, an odd assortment of vehicles, a live drumline and fans all headed to the ballpark to get the season underway.
The parade route, between the Tractor Supply Store and Pat Murphy Field, was lined with fans of the young baseball stars who were accompanied by the Lassen High Drumline and our local Color Guard.
