October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Lassen Family Services is asking Susanville residents to help raise awareness by displaying purple lights in windows throughout the community.
If you would like to help shine a light on domestic violence you can pick up a purple light at the LFS office on Riverside Drive for only $15.
Just follow this link and purchase a purple bulb, or use your own if you have one, and display it throughout October to show your support for domestic violence survivors.
Putting the purple light in your house, on your porch, in front of your business or office helps Lassen Family Services raise awareness.
Proceeds from the bulb sales helps support women, children and men that have experienced domestic violence. For more information call 1.530.257.4599.
