Herlong Future Farmers of America traveled to Tulelake on January 22nd to compete with other FFA chapters from around northern California. The competition features a variety of speaking and career development events.
According to Herlong High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor Kim Dieter, the Herlong team took 2nd place in Advanced Parliamentary Procedure.
Herlong brought home 3rd place for Best Informed Greenhand team, and an individual 5th place was won by Jeremy Wood.
6th place for Extemporaneous Public Speaking went to Ryan Ramsey.
