The Lassen County Historical Society has announced that it will once again be offering a $1,000 scholarship to qualifying 2012 graduates from Lassen County’s high schools.
To be eligible students must have attended a high school in the county for at least three years and plan to attend an accredited college or university.
Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average and have participated in school and community service and leadership.
If you are interested you can pick up an application at any of the school counseling offices or at the Lassen Historical Society Museum, 115 N. Weatherlow. The museum’s winter hours are Tuesday through Thursday 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m., and Saturday 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
