Historical Society’s Annual Meeting to Feature Photographer Randy Robbins

The Lassen County Historical Society’s annual Membership Meeting will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, January 27th, at A Thousand Windows Gallery in uptown Susanville, and society members are encouraged to attend.

Society President Jeremy Couso will give a brief year-in-review, elections will be held for two board seats and then well-known local outdoor-adventure photographer Randy Robbins, who also serves as the Society’s Vice-President, will give an interesting presentation about historic Eastman Studio’s wildlife and landscape photography, and the differences with the art form today.

Robbins will also give a a tour of the building at 800 Main Street that is home to his gallery, a vintage structure that has housed, among other things, a bank, a furniture store, a funeral home, and the Lassen County Times newspaper.

The public is welcome to come hear the presentation.
