The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is busy planning this years Home and Garden Show and if you are a home business, you will want to reserve a space to participate in this year’s event. The annual event takes place on Saturday, April 27, 2013. If your business fits the theme of home, garden or outdoor recreation, you will want to participate.
Chamber members are being given the first opportunity to reserve a space to participate in this year’s event. The deadline to return your application with payment is February 15th. After this date the event will be open to other participants on a first come, first served basis.
The Chamber coordinated this event to help generate sales revenue for participating businesses, gain exposure for your service or product, as well as attract visitors and tourists to the community. The event will be advertised in Susanville and surrounding areas and event posters will be distributed throughout the community to maximize attendance the day of the event.
The following is information regarding the event:
- The event will be held at the Lassen County Fairgrounds from 10am to 4pm.
- Set- up will be held on Friday, April 26th from 12 noon to 4pm. Please let us know should you need more time for setting up of your booth space.
- We will be at the Fairgrounds at 8:30am on Saturday, April 27th for any last minute adjustments that you may need to make to your booth. We ask that you be in your booth and have everything ready to go by 9:30 am the day of the event.
- The event time is 10am to 4pm; please make sure your booth is manned throughout the day and do not dismantle your booth until the event is over at 4pm.
- To gain interest and foot traffic through your booth we suggest that you offer a free drawing or offer samples.
- When doing your business advertising include a tag-line about visiting your booth at the “Spring Home and Garden Show”.
