Janesville School will be holding its Kindergarten Registration Day on Thursday, May 29th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the campus on Main Street in Janesville.
Children must be 5 on or before September 1st, 2014 to be eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2014/2015 school year. Children who turn 5 between September 2nd, 2014 and December 2nd, 2014 are eligible to attend Transitional Kindergarten for the 2014/2015 school year.
The following information is required in order to register your child:
- Current Immunization Record
- Birth Certificate
- Oral Health Assessment
- CHDP/Wellness Examination
Even if you are missing these documents, it is important to begin the registration process. Children will not be able to enter Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten unless these items are completed prior to the first day of school. The school nurse will be available to talk with parents/guardians regarding any health issues or concerns. No appointment is necessary; however please call Janesville School at 253-3551 to give them your child’s name and intent to register for school.
Registration packets are available in the school office if you would like to pick one up before the registration day.
