Good morning everybody, here is a quick update on weather conditions, including a Red Flag Warning that has been posted for our area.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for Lassen and Plumas counties from noon today to 10:00p.m. this evening for gusty winds and low humidity for northeast California and northwest Nevada.
A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening for gusty winds and low humidity for northeast California and northwest Nevada.
- Winds… southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
- Humidity… 7 to 14 percent.
Impacts… the combination of gusty winds and low humidity will create critical fire weather conditions today and possibly again on Tuesday.
