JH Heating Weather: Hazardous Outlook from the National Weather Service

Good morning everybody, time for a quick weather update…

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Warning for Lassen and Plumas Counties this morning, cautioning residents that we can expect wet conditions and strong thunderstorms between now and the weekend.

Today and tonight showers and thunderstorms will continue across the eastern Sierra and Western Nevada. As temperatures cool this evening there is a possibility of snow in the higher elevations, which will make travel difficult.

We can expect the thunderstorms to continue until Friday evening when high-pressure will build in the region bringing a return to drier conditions and normal temperatures for the weekend.

Saturday should be mostly sunny with temperatures around 80 degrees.
