The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning which will remain in effect until 11:00p.m. this evening.

Gusty winds will increase with the strongest winds expected this afternoon and evening. Gusts up to 60mph are possible in wind prone areas along Highway

395 south of Susanville this afternoon and evening.

Cross winds and local areas of blowing dust will create hazardous driving conditions… especially for high profile vehicles along and east of Highway 395.

Motorists, especially in high profile vehicles, should use caution and remain alert for sudden gusts or cross winds.
