Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Summary:
Maintain and repair heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, graders and conveyors, used in construction and mining
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Heavy equipment maintenance and repairs to fleet
- Diesel and hydraulic experience and knowledge preferred
- 12 + 24 volt electrical & A/C R134a diagnosis and repair experience and knowledge preferred
- Experience working with crushing equipment (a plus)
- Welding experience (a plus)
- Class A driver’s license (a plus)
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to work independently as well as with other mechanics at times
Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent
- 3 years’ heavy equipment/mechanical experience and/or technical school required
- Valid driver’s license
