Lassen County Office of Education: State Preschool Paraeducator at McKinley
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must possess ability to relate with children ages 3 – 5.
2. Must demonstrate aptitude for work to be performed.
3. Must possess skill and ability to work with special needs students in a general education preschool setting.
4. Highly Qualified Status: High School Diploma and passage of the CODESP test, 48 semester units of college credit, or A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, preferred.
5. Licensing requirement: Must have or be willing to acquire 12 Early Childhood Education – Core Class Units.
6. Follow health-training guidelines regarding special medical needs.

Site Supervisor and/or Director and/or State Preschool Administrator
HOURS/SALARY:
5.9 hours per day, 5 days per week, $19.90 – $20.70 per hour, DOE
