POSITION:
Food Service Worker – Substitute Position
Begins August 12, 2026 through
August 31, 2026. This is a temporary position that will provide coverage while a staff member is out on leave. The position may end at any time or extend based on staffing needs.
SITE:
Lassen High School
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on the salary schedule
ASSIGNMENT:
5 to 6.5 Hours Per Day, Monday-Friday
DUTIES:
Under the supervision of the Chief Business Officer and general direction of the Assistant Food Service Supervisor, prepares or assists in the preparation, cooking and serving of a variety of foods in a high school food service program.
REQUIREMENTS:
Certification as a Food Service Assistant from the American
School Food Service Association is desirable; obtaining and maintaining a current Serv Safe certificate is required. CPR Certification (may obtain after hired).
