The Lassen Union High School District announces the following position for the 2023-2024 school year.
CURRENT VACANCY:
School Based Therapist/Social Worker – Position begins January 8, 2024
SCHOOL SITE:
Community Day School/Credence High School
SALARY:
Appropriate Placement on the Classified Management Salary Schedule
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
Possession of a valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences
License as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), an
Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT) and/or a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).*
Registration as an ASW, LCSW, ALMFT or MFT.*
Master’s Degree from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology and/or related field.
Minimum 2 years prior experience working in education, mental health, or a related field.
Crisis Management; 1 year (Preferred).
School Based Services; 2 years (Preferred).
Experience in Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Justice Strategies; (Preferred).
Experience with Cessation and Drug and Alcohol Prevention Programs.
*If a candidate has not applied for or obtained required licenses/certifications, they must be capable of initiating the application process and securing the necessary licenses/certifications within two years from the date of hire to fulfill required supervision hours.
