Job Summary
Under direction of the Head Varsity Coach and the Athletic Director, serves as assistant coach of the Varsity team. Maintains inventory of team equipment. Keeps accurate records of equipment check in/out. Provides information for media coverage of sport as necessary. Maintains discipline in accordance with school rules and athletic code. Valid California Teaching credential or Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate, Desire to succeed, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, Concussion Training, and Heat & Illness Prevention Training
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals
Prior experience a plus
Ability to work effectively with young people, staff, and other coaches
CPR/First Aid Certificates
Complete required trainings/obtain certificates
2 Letters of reference – dated within the last 12 months
