The second week of the 2018 season of farmers’ markets in uptown promises even more fresh fruit, healthy living ideas and live music! Lassen Land & Trails Trust and the Historic Uptown Susanville Association will again be bringing the best in local produce, eggs, cottage foods and amazing artwork and crafts to uptown Susanville this Saturday, June 16th.
This weekend the market welcomes Julia’s Fruit Stand for their first appearance of the season. Lassen County Health and Social Services will also be at the market presenting their Market Token Match program. Find them at the Market Managers booth for more information.
“Coffee is on at 8:00, and live music by Dale Keefer, starts at 9:00!” says Farmers’ Market manager Laura Medvin.
The Farmers’ Market will once again be located in Pancera Plaza on Gay Street each Saturday throughout the summer from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.
This year’s market season will run until September 15th.
Farmers’ Market Manager Laura Medvin also reminded residents that Pancera Plaza is closed to vehicles every Friday night at midnight throughout the season.
