From JV Triple Threat Coach Mark Zaengle:

An update on our JV high school girls travel basketball team, We just completed our fourth tournament with a total record of 14 wins and 1 loss. We have gone undefeated in the last three tournaments bringing home first place finishes. The reason this team does so well is firstly the fact they play as a true team almost like they know what each other are thinking, and secondly the fact that even though we only have eight player we are deep in every position they can all fill whatever position that I need them to play.

This last weekend we went 5-0 in the Jam On It District Championships in Reno beating teams from all over California and Nevada. We played the championship game on Sunday at 2:00 against Nevada Basketball Academy who were also undefeated and came away with a huge 59-29 victory.

We are qualified to go to the west coast district championships in Las Vegas in July and will be looking to extend our winning streak between now and then.

Outstanding performance from this group of young ladies. Looking forward to hear how they do in July. Thanks Mark for the updates.
