The Alliance for Workforce Development will be holding the first of their planned monthly meetings, called the Career Café, at the Lassen Business and Career Network on November 28th from 3:00 to 5:00p.m.
The Career Cafe will be an informal opportunity for job seekers, career changers, and any interested individuals to learn about themselves, careers and 21st century workplace skills while enjoying coffee and snacks.
The November Career Cafe will include interactive activities offering assistance with career decision making and being more adaptable to today’s ever-changing workforce.
Becky Terwilliger, Staff Analyst with Lassen Social Service, will present this month’s career focus on Careers in Social Service.
Alliance for Workforce Development staff will be on hand to provide help to job seekers with online job applications.
The organization plans on offering Career Cafe once a month, with each Café featuring new information and activities and a career focus for the community.
