Lassen Community College will be offering a series of workshops, along with a free daily lunch before each session, geared towards helping LCC students discover what it takes to succeed in higher education.
The free student orientation will be held August 6th through the 17th, from 12:30 to 1:30p.m. in the college’s learning center.
Lunch will be served in the cafeteria each day from 11:30a.m. to 12:15p.m.
Scheduled workshops include:
August 6th – Games with a purpose
August 7th – IGA Grocery Shopping Contest
August 8th – Service above self team up with SIR Youth
August 9th – ARC One-Stop shop for information
August 10th – Outdoor adventure at the arena
August 13th – Goal setting
August 14th – Motivation
August 15th – Connecting with Resources
August 16th – Cultural competency
August 17th – Define your success
