Lassen College Offering Special Workshop for Re-Enrolling Students

On January 11th, Lassen College will be offering a free, one day, drop-in workshop designed to help students returning to the college after an absence of one or more semesters.

“Students can come to campus in person and meet with someone to help them with things like financial aid, signing up for classes, special programs, etc.,” explains LCC Outreach Coordinator Annika Peacock.

“We’re offering 500-dollar gift certificates to the campus bookstore for the first thirty former students who re-enroll at our event.”

While this workshop is targeted at returning students who must reapply due to an absence, it is open to anyone with questions about applying or enrolling at the college.

Re-enrolling students will be welcomed back after their time away and helpful college staff will address obstacles to re-enrollment from 9:00a.m. until 2:00p.m., in the Career and Transfer center.

Incentives offered for re-enrolling at the workshop include the $500 bookstore credit for school supplies and textbooks for the first thirty returning students, a voucher for Cougar Café lunch, snacks and drinks, activities for kids and Lassen College swag.

Many on-campus services will be participating in the event; BaseCamp/Student Services; Student Resource Center; DSPS; Financial Aid; Counseling; Admissions and Records; Outreach and the Cashier.
