Hello everyone! We held our first Bingo Night on December 27th. The entry fee was a canned food item to donate to local food banks. We collected and donated 190 cans to Lassen Family Services, Lassen Senior Services, and the Lassen High School Lender Locker.
Ninety-two people attended and the public loved it.
We want to say thank you to the Lassen County Fair for providing the building and facilities for us to use. We also wanted to thank The Lassen County Fair Office, District 5 Supervisor Jason Ingram, The Lepe Family, The Music Family, Ken and Irene Doyle, Margie’s Book Nook, and Elegant Iris & Men’s Den for donating bingo prizes.
Our next Bingo Night is February 7th at 6:00p.m., in Jensen Hall, doors will open at 5:30.
It is a Sweetheart Bingo to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We have a bunch of great prizes, and we are holding bonus rounds for kids twelve and under. The cards are $5 for a bingo bundle which is five games. There is a limit of four bundles per person. There will only be two hundred bundles so please arrive on time.
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. All proceeds go towards Susanville Blue Star Moms for soldier care packages.
Upcoming Events for 4-Her’s
The Home Arts Extravaganza will be held January 14th in Jensen Hall from 1:00 to 3:00p.m. It will be hosted by Richmond 4H and the theme is upcycling.
There are many projects such as bookmarks, pencil holders, wreaths, etc.
Presentation day will be held In Jensen Hall, hosted by Milford 4H and South County on February 19th at 1:00p.m. Please register by February 9th with the 4-H Office.
