Tiffany Armstrong with Lassen County Behavioral Health will be discussing “Self-Harm Behavior.” Her skills will bring a better understanding to caregivers/non-relative caregivers on issues such as: Self-harm behavior, Prevalence/data of self-harm, Reasons for self-harm, Types of treatment. This workshop will be from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Lassen College in the Creative Arts building room 209. Bird Tour with Audubon Society in Mountain Meadows Westwood. Meet at 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 10 at the Westwood Visitor Center (down from the Paul Bunyan statue). Car caravan (please consider carpooling) and short, walking forays to many interesting, scenic spots around Walker Lake and through this very large, very scenic mountain meadow. Bring lunch, water, sun gear, walking shoes, binoculars and camera. The trip will go until 1:00 PM, possibly 2:00 PM, but you can leave any time you like.
