Join the fun with Bottle & Brush Art Bar for their New Summer Schedule for Trivia Night. They’re moving to once-a-month schedule for Trivia Night for the next few months, starting in May. Lassen County Best of Broadway presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Auditions, Friday, May 26th, from 4:00 – 7:00p.m., and Saturday, May 27th, from 10:00 – 2:00p.m., at the Lassen High School Drama Room. Ridin’ High at the Ranch registration is open. The Susanville Area Bicycle Association’s annual cross-country mountain bike race is back for its 11th year on Saturday, May 27th. This race is part of the California Dirt Series and the USA Cycling Regional MTB Championship. Not racing for points? It doesn’t matter! Come race this fun course that has a little bit for everyone. Lassen High School FFA Tri-Tip Dinner will be on June 1st. Pick-up is from 4:00 – 6:00p.m., in the back parking lot of the high school. Tickets are on sale now for $15 a plate.
Lassen County Arts Council presents Children’s Summer Art classes. They are offering 3 different sessions. June 26 and 27, June 28 through 30, and July 31 through August 4. Susanville Community Garden Plant Fundraiser. Saturday, June 3rd, from 11:00-1:00p.m. Join them this weekend and again in two weeks for our organic veggie start fundraiser. This week they will have cooler season crops, and other plants larger enough to go in the ground now, with warmers veggies, like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, etc. ready to go on June 3rd. They have a nice selection of herbs, cabbages, chard, tomatoes, squashes, peppers, flowers, and more.
Susanville Salvation Army and Sunrise Rotary Club present Gary Felt Kilt Classic Golf Tournament. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course. Check in is at 8:00a.m., the Bagpipe ceremony at 8:30a.m. and the Shotgun start at 9:00a.m. You may pay on the day of the event, but teams are limited. Lassen County Law Enforcement Torch Run Thursday, June 15th. Opening Ceremonies at 7:00a.m. Run begins at 7:30a.m. Opening ceremonies at Historic Court House and End at Lassen Superior Court. There are several ways to participate in this event. You can sign up to be a runner in the event or donate by scanning the QR code or clicking the link on the poster on the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. You can also come cheer on the runners at the finish line.
Calvary Kids Storytime, 450 Richmond Rd., Susanville, CA. Every Tuesday from 1:00-2:00p.m. Bring your kids to a Safe, Peaceful place where they can be a kid.
