The Lassen County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen will host the annual “A Taste of Beef, A Sip of Wine” on Saturday, February 27th, from 6 to 9pm. The event will be held at the Elks Lodge and will feature a great selection of wines, beef carving stations, gun raffle, wine pull and Lassen Ale Works beer. Tickets are available for purchase at the Pardner Farm Supply or the Chamber office; you must be 21 to attend.
We’re very excited about our plans to attend and represent Lassen County at the Reno Outdoor Recreation, RV & Boat Show on March 18, 19, and 20. The Chamber board has made a financial and staffing commitment in order to promote Lassen County with a strong presence at the three day show. We know this is an amazing, attractive place to live, visit and do business. Our commitment to the show is a big step forward in ensuring we get the word out to future prospective visitors and business move- ins.
Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is looking to fill an office job opening for an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant provides the Executive Director with office support, assisting with the day-to-day operation, and administration to include greeting visitors, answering telephone inquiries, and maintenance of records. The Chamber office is open Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm. The Chamber staff is available to provide helpful information to those visiting the community and who are looking for area information.
