Mark your calendar to attend the Thursday, March 3rd Chamber Mixer that will be hosted by Sierra Central Credit Union, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at 2920 Riverside Dr. St. # 101, Susanville. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, March 3, 2015 for the monthly board meeting that will begin at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the hotel conference room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
All Chamber committees are in full swing and preparing for the upcoming event season; you do not need to be on the board to serve on committees; we encourage your involvement! If you would like to serve on any committee please contact us at the chamber office, 257-4323.
We’re very excited about our plans to attend and represent Lassen County at the Reno Outdoor Recreation, RV & Boat Show on March 18, 19, and 20. The Chamber board has made a financial and staffing commitment in order to promote Lassen County with a strong presence at the three day show. We know this is an amazing, attractive place to live, visit and do business. Our commitment to the show is a big step forward in ensuring we get the word out to future prospective visitors and business move-ins.
Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is looking to fill an office job opening for an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant provides the Executive Director with office support, assisting with the day-to-day operation, and administration to include greeting visitors, answering telephone inquiries, and maintenance of records. The Chamber office is open Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm. The Chamber staff is available to provide helpful information to those visiting the community and who are looking for area information.
