Mark your calendar to attend the Thursday, June 12, 2014, Chamber Mixer that will be hosted by Superior Product Company, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. They are located at 474-340 Commercial Way, Susanville. Food and no-host bar will be available. New beverage product lines will be introduced and an array of great raffle items will be given away. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates and we encourage you to bring a friend.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, June 12th for the monthly board meeting beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino, in the hotel conference room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
Diamond Mountain Casino will be hosting a customer service training session that will be presented by the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center. The Ritz-Carlton is known for providing extraordinary customer service. The 4 hour workshop will be held this fall at Diamond Mountain Casino; cost is $100 per person to attend. Businesses interested in having supervisors or employees attend can contact Gary at 252-1369. The 24th Annual Main Street Cruise Classic Car and Motorcycle Show is planned for Saturday, June 28th, in Historic Uptown Susanville, from 2 to 6pm. To participate as a vendor, stop by the Chamber office for an application.
