Labor Law Compliance Alert: Mandatory changes to CFRA Notice B take effect July 1st. You must post the revised CFRA notice on July 1, 2015 if you are a private-sector employer with 50 or more employees in 20 or more workweeks in the current or preceding calendar year, including a joint employer or successor in interest to a covered employer; or public agency, including a local or state government agency, regardless of the number of employees you employ. The LLTT 2015 Farmer’s Market season has begun and is held each Saturday, thru the month of September, beginning at 8am, at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot. Call LLTT at 257-3252 if you would like to participate or for more information.
The Chamber will be coordinating the Fair Parade on Saturday, July 18th, beginning at 10am. It’s not too early to begin thinking about your parade entry. The deadline to return you entry is Friday, July 13th, Show off your community pride at this year’s Lassen County Fair Parade by entering your club or business. The Chamber is looking for volunteers to help with judging and announcing during the parade; if you would like to volunteer call the Chamber at 257-4323.
