Artisan Coffee, will again team up with Pizza Factory and Steve’s Pumps and Well Drilling to co-host the Thursday, September 10, Chamber Mixer. Come join in a fun evening as they celebrate Janesville area businesses. The evening mixer will be held at Artisan Coffee located at 644-400 Church Street, Janesville (corner of Hwy. 395 and Church Street), from 5:30 to 7:30pm and will include delicious food, live music, and a variety of local artists’ works will be on display. Everyone is welcomed; you do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. In addition, the Chamber will be sharing an update on the progress in the Americas Best Communities Contest and displaying Main Street renderings that are part of the next phase of the competition.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, September 10 for the monthly board meeting, beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the Hotel Conference Room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
The Lassen County Chamber and Lassen Land and Trails Trust will co-host the annual Rails to Trails Festival on Saturday, October 10, from 10am to 4 pm, in conjunction with the Bizz Johnson Marathon. The festival will feature a chili cook-off, vendor and artisan marketplace, children activities, and handcart races. Applications to participate in this year’s festival are available by logging on to lassencountychamber.org and clicking on the Rails to Trails icon or contact the Chamber at 257-4323 for more information.
