Get ready to savor the flavor! The Lassen County Fair presents the first annual Dutch Oven Showdown, set to take place on Saturday, September 6th, at the fairgrounds.
This culinary event, hosted by the Fairgrounds, invites the public to sample a variety of tasty Dutch Oven creations and help crown the People’s Choice winner.
The showdown is scheduled to begin right after the Lassen Gravel Adventure Ride, offering a delicious way to cap off the day’s festivities.
The tasting will run from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Participants can sample all kinds of unique dishes for just $15 per plate. Tickets will be sold at the Lassen Gravel Adventure Ride packet pickup and at the door.
At 7:30, following the tasting, awards will be presented.
Attendees are encouraged to “Come Hungry!” and participate in judging the creations.
