Lassen County Fatherhood Summit to Celebrate and Support Local Dads June 13th

The Lassen County Fatherhood Partnership is excited to invite fathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches and father figures to the 2026 Lassen County Fatherhood Summit, a day dedicated to celebrating the important role men play in the lives of children and families.

This year’s summit, themed “Voices of Fatherhood: Real Stories, Real Challenges, Real Impact,” will be held on Saturday, June 13th, from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at Diamond View School in Susanville.

The event is designed to provide encouragement, practical tools, and meaningful connections for men who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from local fathers and community leaders, including Russell Bates, Mitch Lively, Orlando Shannon, and Barney McKee, as they share personal experiences, lessons learned, and the profound impact fatherhood has had on their lives.

Along with these impactful stories, the day will feature engaging workshops, demonstrations, interactive activities, great food, and prizes, offering plenty of opportunities to connect with other dads and mentors from across Lassen County.

Whether you are a new father, a seasoned parent, a grandfather, coach, uncle, or community mentor, the Fatherhood Summit offers valuable resources and support to help strengthen families and build stronger communities.

The event focuses on key values such as leadership, mentorship, respect, community, and legacy—reminding participants that while fathers don’t often feel like heroes, they are a big deal, and the influence of a caring adult can last a lifetime.

Registration is quick and easy. Attendees can click here to register online.
