The Lassen County Office of Education has announced that all K–12 educators across Lassen County will now have full access to Magic School AI, one of the most widely used artificial intelligence platforms in education.
This countywide investment reflects LCOE’s commitment to empowering educators with innovative tools that save time, enhance instructional delivery, and support student learning and engagement.
According to Lassen Office of Education Communications Specialist Kaitlyn Midgely, Magic School AI offers educators the ability to:
- Save 5–10 hours per week on lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks
- Use curriculum-aligned tools to boost instructional design and outcomes
- Support diverse learners through built-in accessibility and differentiation features
- Promote responsible AI use through the student-facing “Magic Student” platform
- Rely on top-tier student data privacy protections
“We are committed to giving Lassen County educators access to the best resources available,” said Patricia Gunderson, Lassen County Superintendent of Schools. “Tools like Magic School allow our teachers to reclaim time, individualize instruction, and lead the way in preparing students for a tech-enabled future.”

Educators can visit www.magicschool.ai and sign up using their Clever or school-issued Google account. Once logged in, teachers are encouraged to update their profile to receive personalized tool recommendations and explore on-demand training materials available directly through the platform.
LCOE will also be offering a virtual professional learning session soon to support educators in fully leveraging Magic School’s features.
