Lassen District Attorney Candidates Set to Meet for Public Forum May 16th

Three candidates vying for the position of Lassen County District Attorney will meet in a debate on May 16th to discuss local public safety and law enforcement concerns.

The event will give the public a chance to engage with David Williams, Susan Rios and David Evans in a structured debate, asking questions provided through a moderator.

In addition, debate attendees will have an opportunity to address the candidates directly with their questions.

The forum, which will be held in the Lassen High Student Center at 6:00p.m., will be moderated by Pat Holley, a Susanville resident who has been active in Neighborhood Watch groups and community activities.

“The objective is to have a debate focused on the community’s public safety and law enforcement concerns,” explains Holley.

“The forum is sponsored by our Community which is not connected with any party organization or candidate.”

Holley encourages the Susanville and Lassen County residents, as well as high school and Lassen College students, to consider attending the event.

The debate will be streamed live on SusanvilleStuff.com.

If you would like to submit written questions for the candidates please email them to [email protected]
