The Lassen High School Grizzliette Drill Team celebrated 50 years on the field Friday night with a special singing of the school song and presentation of a plaque to the team’s first coach Donna Morelini.
Drill Team members from every decade came to the varsity football game at Arnold Field for the ceremony. At halftime the Grizzliettes performed a vintage routine to the ZZ Top song ‘Legs’. The Little Grizzliettes, fresh from last week’s Drill Team camp, also performed for Grizzly fans.
