Lassen Family Services’ Court Appointed Special Advocates program will be hosting a “Coffee with CASA” event on Tuesday, January 28th, from 9:30 to 11:00a.m. at Joe’s Coffee Shop on Main Street.
This get-together is a great opportunity for community members to learn more about the CASA program and how they can make a difference in the lives of children. And the first cup of coffee is free!
CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of these vulnerable children.
CASA is always looking for compassionate individuals who are interested in giving back to their community and making a positive impact on the lives of children.
These volunteers come from all walks of life and receive comprehensive training to prepare them for their role. No specific experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a commitment to advocating for children.
