UPDATED: Due to unforeseen circumstances Lassen Family Services has announced that Thursday’s Event will be postponed.
Lassen Family Services will be hosting Transformation is Real, a men’s and male youth empowerment event, this Thursday, June 13th, from 1:00 to 3:00p.m.
The event will address childhood trauma, addiction, absent parent, unhealthy coping skills and life choices, domestic violence, sexual assault and toxic masculinity traits. Dispelling myths about men reaching out for help.
The empowerment event, which was created to dispel myths about men and male youth reaching out for help, will feature guest speakers who have transformed their lives, and a question and answer session with the experts.
Lunch will be provided and you can enter a free raffle for a chance to win a men’s gift basket.
The workshop, which will take place at the Community Church’s office at 65 S. Lassen Street, will also be carried live on Facebook @lassenfamilyservices.
