Lassen Family Services is hosting a 6-week American Sign Language course beginning August 11th, giving community members an opportunity to learn a new language and connect with others.
The classes are presented in partnership with Cozette Amador, a local community member with over 10 years of experience in ASL interpretation and tutoring.
Designed for ages 10 and up, sessions will meet on Tuesdays at 5:30p.m. at Lassen Family Services, located at 1306 Riverside Drive in Susanville.
The cost for the entire 6-week course is $30 per person, or $45 for two people. Fees can be paid in advance at Lassen Family Services or at the door on the day of class, with all proceeds going directly to the instructor.
