Lassen Family Services Racing Night Event at Lumberjack Cancelled

Lassen Family Services’ Dining for a Cause event, originally scheduled for Monday evening at Lumberjack Restaurant has been postponed until spring after a tough night on the racetrack last week left drivers bruised and race cars in shambles.

According to Jesse McCracken, one of the event’s organizers, the fundraiser will be rescheduled in the spring when the cars are put back together.

“All of the racers are disappointed,” said McCracken, “and were really looking forward to the event, but we are just happy they’re all ok.”
