Lassen Family Services, in partnership with Wendy Jacobs, invites the community to come together this week to honor the life, legacy, and advocacy work of Jack Jacobs.
Jack is remembered as a dedicated shelter advocate who poured his heart into mentoring and providing peer counseling to victims of domestic and sexual violence. His impact on the organization and the clients he served was profound.
According to Lassen Family Services, Jack possessed a unique gift for connection: “He had a remarkable ability to read a room and understand non-verbal cues, which made him exceptional at supporting survivors. He was tireless, compassionate, and someone we could all look up to.”
To recognize his meaningful impact on the community, a special gathering will be held to place a memorial plaque on the bench outside the office this Friday, January 16th, at 11:00a.m. at the Lassen Family Services Main Office, 1306 Riverside Drive.
The community is encouraged to join LFS and the Jacobs family in remembering and celebrating Jack’s tireless dedication to helping others.
