In late October a disaster struck our nation. Hurricane Sandy, a terrible and merciless storm swept over the east coast of the United States and left thousands homeless, and millions in fear or what was to come.
Many Americans came to the aid of their fellow man, and Lassen High School Associated Student Body has decided to do the same. On November 29th, they are hosting a Hurricane Relief potluck dinner at the Veteran’s Hall from 5pm-9pm. Admission is $5 and all proceeds will be donated to American Red Cross.
” I think the best part about putting on this event on is the realization that a small town like ours can make a difference in our nation, even with something as simple as a potluck dinner,” said ASB Attorney General, Daniel Lee.
Please come down this Thursday and support the Students of Lassen High School who have put much effort into this event. For more information on the event please call Lassen High School 257-5134.
