Lassen High Varsity and JV baseball teams held their awards night Thursday May 9, 2013.
Lassen Varsity has finished their regular season play with a record of 21-6. They begin playoffs tomorrow against Anderson at Memorial Park at 5:00pm.
Receiving awards for Lassen were:
Best Defensive Player – Travis Fuller
Best Offensive Award – Colby Chavez
Pitcher of the Year – Joey Beck
Coaches Award – Nate Freeman
Coaches Award – Jarrell Cunningham
Coaches Award – Colby Chavez
Lassen JV finishes their season with a record of 11-8 and taking 2nd place in the NAL.
The award recipients for the JV team were:
MVP – Jake Thomas
Best Offensive – Weston Ormachea
Band Aid Award – Colten Surian
Coaches Award – Tommy Sharpe
Coaches Award – Keith Rose
10th Man Award – Shawn Anderson
