Can you believe it’s been 45 years since those tassels were turned at Arnold Field? The Lassen High School Class of 1981 is officially calling all alumni to return to Susanville this summer for a “small but mighty” celebration of four and a half decades of memories.
The main event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18th, coinciding with the Lassen County Fair weekend – the perfect time to reconnect with old friends and hometown roots.
The reunion will be held at Far Far Away Ranch, and the evening will feature a taco bar and charcuterie spread, a cash-only bar (beer, wine, and cocktails), “oldies” music to take you back, a remembrance video and plenty of games and laughs.
Make it a Weekend
The committee has planned several optional gatherings to keep the celebration going: On Friday there will be optional meetups at the Lassen County Fair or a local brewery.
On Saturday morning there will be a nostalgic tour of the Lassen High School campus, and on Sunday a farewell brunch will wrap up the weekend.
RSVP and Database Update
The committee is asking every classmate to fill out the RSVP form, even if you are unable to attend. They are currently compiling a database to help the class stay connected and catch up on where everyone is now. The deadline to RSVP is May 1st. Click here to fill out the form and RSVP.
