The Lassen High School Drama Club has a pair of productions coming up in the high school’s drama room this month.
May 11th, 12th and 13th, the club will present the student-directed Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure Grimm stories.
The Friday showtime for Brothers Grimm is 6:00p.m., with a Saturday show at 12:30p.m. and a Sunday show at 6:00p.m.
On Wednesday May 16th, and Saturday May 19th, everyone’s favorite ogre is back in a hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical. Shrek Jr. the Musical will be performed at 6:00p.m. Wednesday and there are two shows Saturday, a matinee at 1:00 and an evening show at 6:00.
Admission for all shows are $6 general, $4 for Seniors and ASB. Children 12 and under get in free with a parent.
