All Students – The Susanville Police Department will be conducting a large inter-agency training on June 14th at Lassen High School. They’re looking for reliable role players to assist with the training. If you are interested in helping out with this worthwhile training see Kristen in the front office to pick up your waiver form.
Cross-Country – Running, water parks, lakes, hiking Mount Lassen, travel, games, team dinners and Subway Caves. “This describes where we go and what we do in Cross Country. We’ll condition you for your winter or spring sport.” For details on the upcoming season, there will be a short team meeting on Wednesday, June 7th immediately after fourth period finals at 12:25 in the gym. All Students – Summer Work Permits, if you are currently working and will continue to work this summer, please come to the safety office to request a renewal.
Attention Class of 2025 – If you wish to purchase a parking spot for next year, please swing by Mrs. Vincent or Mrs. Ammon’s room to pick up the painting contract before you leave for summer vacation. Contracts will also be available in the main office during the summer. Rental sales begin Monday, August 14th from 3:00 to 5:00p.m. in Mrs. Vincent’s classroom and Tuesday, August 15th from 9:00 to 11:00a.m. in Mrs. Ammon’s room. Class Advisors and Officers will be available during those times to take money and accept new contracts.
Counseling News – If you are a Senior and are planning to attend LCC in the fall, please come to the counseling office and sign up to meet with an LCC representative.
Sports – Anyone interested in trying out for football, there will be a mandatory meeting today, June 6th, after school in the Big Gym.
Volleyball open gyms will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, June 12th through June 21st from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Boys basketball open gyms will be Mondays and Wednesdays, June 5th through June 21st from 4:00 to 6:00p.m.
Girls basketball open gyms will be held July 10th, July 12th, July 24th and July 26th from 10:00 a.m. until noon. If you will be a returning athlete, please log into the Home Campus account that you created this year and update your info. Then upload a picture of your new sports physical (dated after June 8th). If you will be a new athlete next year, please go to homecampus.com and create an account and register yourself as an athlete. Please schedule a sports physical for after June 8th and then upload a picture of your sport’s physical paperwork to your new Home Campus account.
